Un peu maso oui !
Le plus bizarre c'est que quand l'EP est sorti avec And Then There Was Silence, j'avais trouvé ça chargé oui, mais ça passait super bien. Après, en écoutant l'album, j'ai trouvé que c'est le morceau dont l'écoute est la plus agréable alors qu'il est finalement le plus chargé, curieux... |

Tout à fait d'accord avec toi l'Ancêtre concernant ANATO. Pour le cas Thomen c'est bien bizarre finalement cette séparation. Je pensais qu'il se consacrerait uniquement à Coldseed (donc un truc apparemment plus moderne) et finalement il semble refaire du BG plus ou moins old-school. Pourquoi pas, j'attends d'entendre la suite. Par contre, bonne idée d'avoir pris des gars de Persuader qui, au moins sur leur dernier album (Evolution Purgatory me semble-t-il), est bien dans cette lignée BGienne et qui ma foi fait du bien par où il passe. Bref j'adresse à Thomen (même s'il s'en fout probablement) mes encouragements. |

Ben je dois être maso alors
Car le jour ou j'ai acheté ANATO je l'ecouté en boucle !!! Pour moi, c'est le meilleur album de Blind Guardian et un des meilleurs disques de heavy metal de ces dernières années. Il en 2ème position de mon TOP album de 2002, juste derrière le NILE. |

Sauf que j'adore ANATO, pour les memes raisons que ceux qui détestent. Et inversement, evidemment.
Ceci dit, rien ne porte à croire que le prochain BG sera aussi alambiqué qu'ANATO. Je ne serai pas non plus contre un peu plus de moins. Enfin, un peu moins de tout ces trucs qui font qu'ANATO est une découverte permanente...

Genre une grosse raclette avec plein de beurre sur du pain, de la charcutaille de partout, et plein de vin blanc à 2€ avec ?? oui
Je ne me suis jamais réellement penché sur le pourquoi des gens le trouve si, hummm 1) difficile à écouter 2) indigeste(?) Est-ce juste une question de surarrangement ? Auquel cas le probleme ne s'applique plus sur les compos jouées live (cf Live) ? Pour ma part, je ne suis pas particulièrement attiré par des musiques dites "alambiquées" genre prog, mais plutot par des trucs directs, très mélodiques et puissants. Et là je m'y retrouve parfaitement ! Alors lachez vous. |

Bon voila, d'après le site officiel de Thomen (www.thomen.de), l'abum sortira en août/septembre et sera intitulé Dreamland manor. Oui, c'est encore plus nul que le nom du groupe. Sinon, M. Stauch fera également une interview que l'on pourra écouter en live le vendredi 15 (donc demain) à 18h CET sur le site http://www.mariskalrock.com. Précision, le site étant espagnol et Thomen parlant espagnol (enfin je suppose vu qu'il vit là bas) attendez-vous à ce que ça se passe dans la langue de Cervantes. Au pire on pourra toujours demander à Queenie de nous faire un résumé.

Hi friends, Here’s an update on our latest activities. But first I would like to thank you for your positive response to the Savage Circus songs. This gave me hope to see you guys on our first tour again. This will be a fantastic party!!! I hope the whole album will meet your expectations, lets see. Your faithfulness left me very impressed and believe it or not after 20 fantastic years with BG your mails nearly made me cry. In the meantime I got used to the new situation, which is not too surprising after all your massive support. You are the best ... Okay, back to my new plans for the next weeks and months. The next weeks will be filled with promotions for SC. In the middle of May Mi, Gonzalo, Torsten, Olli and I will be back in Karo’s studio, which was named Hammer Studios not too long ago, to lay down the last drum tracks for our project with Bjoern. After this we record bass and guitar tracks, so Bjoern can put his vocal track down, after returning from the US (they are touring there at the moment). All of this will keep us busy until the end of June. Bjoern will manage to have a break from the festivals with Soilwork. They will be absolute killer shows. This is simply Party-Metal!! Our music will have for some of you some surprises in stall, because it will be different to what I have done with BG or with SC. We opened ourselves to various influences, for instance some of the songs have an almost Punk-character. Some songs will remind you of bands such as Cold Chamber, Rammstein, Linkin Park or even Korn. This record will be very versatile and I can describe it like this to wet your appetite. The bottom line is that we have managed to create our very own style, which could only be described as Nu/Modern Party Metal. I truly hope that you find it as refreshing as us, although this selection of music might not be your usual thing. We have all different tastes, and that’s understandable, but for me this project is an absolute challenge because the style of drumming required is so different to the Melodic Power Metal line. It is 90% groove and it broadens my spectrum again. Luckily no one ever stops learning ... The whole mix will be completed in August and we hope to catapult the album around February 2006 into the CD shelves; as long as everything runs smoothly. The album release of Savage Circus’ “Dreamland Manor” will be released by our new label Dockyard 1 and will be out hopefully by the end of August, beginning of September 2005. Other plans with Savage Circus include a world wide tour starting around Oct/Nov. 2005 continuing into the following year, with club shows, as well as festivals. Unfortunately I can’t be 100% certain right now, but we will do everything to get this rolling. I do promise that you that you will see us live in one form or another in 2006. I hope you can turn out in big numbers. I can’t wait ... This is all from the news camp for now, please cross your fingers that everything runs smoothly as it has before.
