Mark Lanegan - Blues Funeral

Mark Lanegan Band releases Blues Funeral on February 6th 2012, Lanegan’s first album since 2004’s Bubblegum. It was recorded in Hollywood, California with Alain Johannes and features guest appearances from the likes of Josh Homme, Greg Dulli and Jack Irons.
Today, the artwork and tracklisting for Blues Funeral has been unveiled, and the opening track ‘The Gravedigger’s Song’ – premiered today on US west-coast radio – can now be downloaded below.
‘The Gravedigger’s Song’ will be released as a 7” backed with a new version of ‘Burning Jacob’s Ladder’, a song which briefly featured in a trailer for the Rage video game in early 2011. The 7” will be issued on coloured vinyl and available from January 2nd.

il a toujours cette putain de voix ... je vais me pencher sur la question ... j'ai beaucoup aimé Scraps at midnight mais je ne connais pas bien le reste de ce qu'il a fait en solo ... le top de sa carriere restera sans doute à jamais Sweet Oblivion ... quel putain d'album, pas un titre en dessous ... all killer no filler ...

C'est moi ou The Gravedigger's Song sonne très "Queen of the stone age" ? (elle est bien bonne en tout cas) C'est moi ou la pochette de l'album fait très "Fleetwood Mac", aussi bien pour le logo que pour l'illustration ?

Un peu à la bourre, mais j'ai fini par l'acheter ce week end. Franchement ça le fait méchant. Le genre de disque qui te fais voyager de l'autre côté de l'Atlantique. On se croirait dans une ville où il se passe rien. Ste désespoir derrière.
Bref ça le fait et la voix qu'il a. Vive le whisky !
