Ca c'est de la nouvelle.
Moi qui rêvait de les voir en live...j'espère qu'il y aura une tournée en France.
J'espère aussi que ce ne sera pas un bide (genre la sortie d'un album juste pour se remplire les poches puis après plus rien).

Si Paris ou Lyon sont sur la tournée, ce sera pour moi un concert obligé...

Oui, c'est un peu comme les Stones, même si ce n'est plus comme avant, il faut l'avoir vu avant de mourir.

Je les avais au Zenith en 2004, très bon concert, superbe set-list.
Bon, on sentait qu'ils étaient trop vieux pour jouer des trucs speeds comme Gates of delirium et qu'ils font plus de titres calmes.

Très belle version acoustique de Owner of a lonely heart, même Rick Wakeman avait l'air content de la jouer, c'est dire, bon Howe (plus en retrait et moins virtuose qu'avant) avait l'air de se faire chier dessus, comme d'hab.

Tournée annulée, Jon Anderson est pas en super forme :

Legendary rock band YES announced today that the group will unfortunately be canceling their 2008 40th Anniversary Tour. The 26-city tour was scheduled to kick off in Quebec next month and run through the summer.

YES frontman and founding member Jon Anderson was admitted to the hospital last month after suffering a severe asthma attack. He has now been diagnosed with acute respiratory failure and was told by doctors this weekend that he needs to rest and not work for a period of at least six months or suffer further health complications. Upon receiving this news the band has determined that their tour plans need to be put on hold.

Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

Said Jon Anderson, "In the wake of my recent respiratory attack, doctors have advised me to spend the coming months resting and recovering. Unfortunately, this means I won't be able to tour with YES this summer as originally planned. I'd like everyone know how deeply disappointed I am by this turn of events. I was looking forward to celebrating our music with the amazing family of YES fans once again; but as we all know, health must come before anything else. Wishing you all the very best..."

Said Chris Squire, "We were all looking forward to performing for our fans after a prolonged leave of absence from touring. I am especially regretful of the fact that I know many of our fans and friends have probably laid out non-refundable airfares and hotels, etc. in order to enjoy the YES shows this summer. Please join me in wishing Jon a speedy return to health, which at this point in time is our main concern."

De l'asthme, et visiblement mechamment, il doit rester 6 mois au repos minimum

Sachant qu'à cet age, ce genre de problème respiratoire grave, ça empêche pas forcément de chanter... mais peut être pas deux heures tous les soirs avec en plus le stress de la tournée. Donc à moins que ce soit vraiment la version la moins grave d'un truc grave, y'a pas trop d'espoir de ce côté là.

Et merde !!
Je vais rarement en concert, mais c'est YES quoi !! J'y tenais.
J'espère que le rendez-vous aura lieu dans 6 mois !!

Le groupe va tourner quand même avec un autre chanteur, Benoït David, la tournée sera nommée Yes-In a present tour

Anderson a pas aimé, ça ne m'étonne que peu

isappointed, and very Disrespected.

Disappointed that, with the exception of one phone call from Alan, none of the guys have been in touch since my illness, just to find out how I am doing, and how we will foresee the future for YES. And disappointed that they were not willing to wait till 2009 when I’m fully recovered.

And I feel very disrespected, having spent most of this year creating songs and constant ideas for the band, spending time with Roger Dean creating a stage design, also working with VH1 and Sirius and XM Radio to help promote the welfare of YES.

Getting sick was not "on my radar”, and I thank my own angel Janeee and my family for helping me through this difficult time, and the many well wishers, friends and fans alike, for understanding that ''things happen''.

Of course I wish the guys all the best in their 'solo' work, but I just wish this could have been done in a more gentlemanly fashion. After all YES is a precious musical band.

This is not YES on tour...

Moué... Pas atroce, mais c'est pas Anderson, clairement. Dans mes souvenirs le chanteur de STARCASTLE fait même plus "illusion".
