Brazilian thrashers SEPULTURA entered the studio earlier in the month to begin recording their new album, which is based on the Anthony Burgess novel "A Clockwork Orange" (later turned into the classic film by Stanley Kubrick). An October release via SPV is expected.

SEPULTURA's forthcoming CD will be the group's first to feature drummer Jean Dolabella, who replaced founding member Igor Cavalera in 2006. Igor has since reunited with his brother and former SEPULTURA frontman Max Cavalera in CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.

Commented SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser: "We are working now for two weeks, recording our new album. I'm almost finished laying down the rhythm guitar tracks, using mostly my Fender Stratocaster Nation and my Jackson RR. The sounds are dirtier and heavier, both for the guitars and drums.

"I believe this will be our best work in many, many years.

"The book is very inspiring and the songs are flowing naturally.

"Soon we will record the orchestra on the version me, the director Alexey Kurkdjian and Jean did for the Ninth Symphony from Beethoven, I think our greatest challenge so far."

Voila, ça peut être sympa je pense, je n'oublie pas que même si le groupe est moins médiatisé que les frangins Cavalera, il a sorti de très bons disques ces dernières années avec Green

j'aime bien les Sepultura récents. Je pense qu'on ne sera pas déçu. Enfin cela reste à confirmer.

Brazilian thrashers SEPULTURA have set "A-Lex" (which stands for "no law" or "without law") as the title of their new album, which is based on the Anthony Burgess novel "A Clockwork Orange" (later turned into the classic film by Stanley Kubrick). Due in November via SPV Records, the follow-up to 2006's "Dante XXI" was recorded at in São Paulo, Brazil at Trama Studios and was mixed at Mega Studios. According to SEPULTURA, the CD — which features 18 songs with a total playing time of 60 minutes — was completed in record time because it is basically a recording of the band's studio jams captured over a three-month period.

Je sens que ça va être un excellent album comme Nation ou Dante XXI, mais que tout le monde va s'en foutre parce que Sepultura sans Cavalera c'est pas bien, bien triste tout ça quand même

Au fait, faut que tu changes ton titre, l'album s'appelle A-Lex.

Sinon, je dois dire que j'attends ça la bite à la main. Dante était bonnard, et ils semblent avoir mis les petits plats dans les grands. Ca va donner.
