Erlandsson se casse, Cradle n'aura jamais un line-up stable je pense :

After months of rumors and speculation, British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have officially confirmed the departure of drummer Adrian Erlandsson. According to an official press release, "Erlandsson has found that his two side projects NEEDLEYE and NEMHAIN are taking up more and more of his time and has made the decision to leave COF so he can concentrate more of his energies on them."

Commented Adrian: "I have enjoyed my time with CRADLE but it is now time to move on. I feel I am going out on a high as 'Thornography' is definitely our best album to date."

Over the course of the last few months, rumors of Adrian's departure have been gaining strength, with several "in-the-know" parties claiming that Adrian was fired from the group just days before they were to sign a new publishing deal. As a result, it was reported (but not officially confirmed) that Erlandsson was relegated to the status of a "session" member (whereby he was paid only for time worked and was not entitled to any publishing or artist royalties), a situation which was rumored to have strained his relationship with the band's frontman Dani Davey (a.k.a. Dani Filth).

In the last few weeks, Erlandsson — a native Swede who was in AT THE GATES and THE HAUNTED prior to joining CRADLE OF FILTH — has been getting increasingly involved in outside projects — such as NEMHAIN (which is fronted by Erlandsson's wife, fetish model Morrigan Hel; a.k.a. Amber England) and NEEDLEYE — culminating in his non-appearance in CRADLE OF FILTH's new video for the song "Temptation".

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have recruited Czech drummer Marthus (real name: Martin Škaroupka) to replace Adrian Erlandsson. Martin was born on January 20, 1981 in the Czech Republic and has previously played with GALACTIC INDUSTRY and INNER FEAR, among other bands. "A fine gent whose skills are second to none," Martin "will be continuing to play on the rest of the tour," CRADLE OF FILTH writes in a statement. "Those of you who have already seen us you will know that Martin is more than qualified for the job!"

petit compte rendu de clermont :

temps pourri sur la route, bouchon, mais nous arrivons a la coopé de mai, ou la 1ere partie a déja commencé : cdlm...

nous prenons le temps de mater la salle, grosse rigolade car les collégiens et lycéens étaient de sorti ! des puffs aussi, des parents avec leur mome en noir avec 3 pics sur la tête. ça change de l'image du hardos comme pour slayer à bercy.

bref, le concert commence enfin à 22h30 : mon dieu, que dani est petit !! même avec ses boots

son très fort mais plutot bon, petite salle donc je pense que ça doit jouer pour un son correct. ils ont joué des titres de tous les albums, jai pas la set list, mais la plupart des hits ont été joués. Plusieurs morceaux de thornography, ça passe très bien. on a eu droit à l'instru the rise of the pentagram, superbe. la nouveau batteur assure, la double grosse caisse ma pété les oreilles. Javais entendu ou lu plusieurs critiques sur les performances scéniques de cradle en live, et là ct plutot le contraire, très bon concert, 1h30.

des défauts : la claviériste, va falloir quelle bosse un peu, c pas compliqué ce quelle joue, mais parfois elles jouent vraiment mal.

en résumé, très bien, 23h30, on part, on rigole encore un peu du public, mais que font les parents

Ma grande patience est enfin recompensée !

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH will release "Thornography Deluxe – Harder, Darker, Faster" on January 29 via Roadrunner Records. In addition to the album's original 12 tracks, the deluxe edition features new artwork, six new songs, live material and videos ("The Foetus Of A New Day Kicking", "Tonight In Flames" and "Temptation").

Most of the new songs featured on "Thornography Deluxe – Harder, Darker, Faster" were written during the "Thornography" sessions but were completed at a later date. They are as follows:

alors là c trop!! Ils commencent à me rendre dignue roadrunner avec leurs éditions limitées un an après la sortie de 'album!!!!! c'est vraiment n'importe quoi!!!
t'en avais entendu parler noise? après le coup de nymphetamine, je m'étais méfié mais je n'avais vu aucune info sur une édition limitée....

au fait quelqu'un a réussi à récupérer l'artwork original de thornography, celui qui a été censuré?

Je connais Roadrunner surtout, et j'en avais vaguement entendu parlé oui à la sortie de l'album

En même temps, pour dégoûter les irréductibles (et loués soient-ils) de l'achat, c'est une bonne méthode.

Ouais, c'est franchement chiant comme méthode.
Tant pis, j'téléchargerai les bonus, j'vais pas le racheter (enfin j'dis ça, mais comme un con j'vais pas résister longtemps à l'envie de POSSEDER la version la plus complète qui soit, comme d'hab, je suis faible).

Ils le font à chaque coup ! Je me suis fait avoir pour Stone Sour mais heureusement, j'avais attendu pour Christ Illusion !

Ouais ça commence à devenir gonflant, faudra pas se plaindre du téléchargement ensuite.

J'ai très envie de les boycotter pour le coup ...

Ce sera le cas pour moi, qu'ils nous pondent un album à la hauteur de Nymphetamine ou cruelty and the beast et j'y reviendrai, le dernier ne m'a pas laissé un souvenir imperissable.

J'ai bien aimé Thornograph, c'est le procédé de sortir une édition "delamorkitu" un an et demi après la sortie de l'album qui ne me plaît guère.

Je le trouve inégal, le titre avec le mec de him, je me rappelle plus le nom du morceau est à chier, je trouve, le morceau d'ouverture est trés moyen, j'aime bien "tonight in flame" "libertina grimm" et "i an the thorn" pour le reste bof...
