Très bon petit cru de Pearl Jam, je suis content de les retrouver en forme pres de 4 ans après, la voix de Edd Vedder a rien perdu de son charme, vivement conseillé aux fans de bon rock

le clip de Life wasted :

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6187666924357770983

According to MJI Interactive, PEARL JAM have released their first video since the animated clip for their 1998 track "Do the Evolution". The video for "Life Wasted", the second single off the band's new self-titled album, can be downloaded for free until Wednesday online here.

In a recent interview with Launch, PEARL JAM guitarist Mike McCready explained why the band waited until their eighth studio album to simply call the record "Pearl Jam". "We decided that the music on this record was what was gonna say the most about the record," he said. "So the title was kind of secondary, and then it — it's just, it's what it is. It's just who we are, we're PEARL JAM, and that's why we didn't have any thoughts on it, other than the music is what's gonna tell you what it's about."

"Pearl Jam" arrived in stores on May 2. It's the group's first studio set since 2002's "Riot Act

Un triple live monstrueux vient de sortir, et que je viens d'acheter, 7 CD pour 3 concerts complets :

SEATTLE, WA - Pearl Jam announces the release of "Pearl Jam Live at the Gorge 05/06" (Monkeywrench Records), a seven disk box set of the band's three scorching sold-out George, Washington shows that kicked off and concluded the band's extensive world tour.

"Live at the Gorge" is comprised of seventy-six individual songs that aptly capture the energy of the band and 75,000 hometown fans over the course of three memorable nights. The setlists span Pearl Jam's 17-year career, including the band's classics, their rarely-played but oft-requested rarities, and their most-loved cover songs.

"The Gorge concerts were the most demanded and downloaded shows in Ten Club history," says Ten Club manager Tim Bierman. "The combination of the blistering weather, the scenic venue and the hometown fans made for three unforgettable nights of music."

Highlights and full set lists of each of the "Live at the Gorge" performances follow:

"Live At The Gorge" Highlights:

Concert 1: September 1, 2005
This concert is the most downloaded show in Pearl Jam history, also marking the first performance of what was to become a one and a half year world tour for the band and the first time the band played the Gorge in 12 years. The evening starts with a special acoustic set by Pearl Jam, and also includes rare performances of Hard to Imagine (performed for the first time since 9/6/1998), Undone (First time ever performed) Low Light, Sad, Crown of Thorns (Mother Love Bone cover).

Opening Acoustic Set:
I Believe In Miracles (Ramones Cover), Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Of He Goes, Low Light, Man Of The Hour, I Am Mine, Crazy Mary (Victoria Williams Cover), Black, Hard To Imagine

Set 1:
Given To Fly, Last Exit, Save You, Do The Evolution, Alone, Sad, Even Flow, Not For You, Corduroy, Dissident, MFC, Undone, Daughter, In My Tree, State of Love And Trust, Alive, Porch
Encore 1:
Love Boat Captain, Insignificance, Better Man, Rearviewmirror
Encore 2:
I Won't Back Down (Tom Petty Cover), Last Kiss (J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers cover), Crown Of Thorns (Mother Love Bone Cover), Blood
Encore 3:
Yellow Ledbetter, Baba O'Riley (The Who Cover)

"It's safe to say the cliché about wine getting better with age can now be applied to Pearl Jam." -Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Travis Hay, September 2, 2005

Concert 2: July 22, 2006
Pearl Jam's homecoming show on the tail end of a 2-leg U.S. tour. Rare performances nclude revisiting Mother Love Bone's Crown of Thorns and Dirty Frank (performed for the first time since 4/12/1994).

Set 1:
Wash, Corduroy, Hail Hail, World Wide Suicide, Severed Hand, Given To Fly, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Even Flow, Down, I Am Mine, Unemployable, Daughter/(It's Ok), Gone, Black, Insignificance, Life Wasted, Blood
Encore 1:

Encore 2:

"What sets the band apart is that they still work the rock cliché with panache, passion, and compassion for both fans and hometown. When they closed the show with a cover of another great Seattleite's version of "The Star-Spangled Banner," it sure felt like all 20,005 of us were home." -The Seattle Times, Rachel Devitt, July 24, 2006

Concert 3: July 23, 2006
This show marks the closing concert for the band's 26 date 2006 U.S. tour and includes rarities God's Dice, Rats and Satan's Bed.

Set 1:
Severed Hand, Corduroy, World Wide Suicide, Gods' Dice, Animal, Do The Evolution, In Hiding, Green Disease, Even Flow, Marker In The Sand, Wasted Reprise, Better Man/(Save it for Later - The English Beat Cover), Army Reserve, Garden, Rats, Whipping, Jeremy, Why Go

"The band blazed through 2 1/2 hours of material from its new, self-titled Avocado album and an abundance of its classic material, treating the sold-out crowd to a scorching-hot set that complemented the ovenlike conditions."

je viens de le lancer, j'en ai pour la soirée et la nuit long de tout ce qui ressemble de pres ou de loin a un feu d'artifice, le bonheur 8-)
