Nick, sérieusement tu t'attendais à ce qu'il sonne comment en fait? Là je ne capte pas vraiment, c'est du Moonspell et du très bon Moonspell.
A moins qu'il soit too much pour toi . C'est quoi en fait qui t'a dérangé et déçu?

Moi aussi je l'aime bien cet album.

Il est plus pêchu que les deux derniers mais il garde beaucoup d'éléments qui sont propres au groupe (même si Luna me fait beaucoup penser à type O). Mention aux instrumentaux de toute beauté je trouve.

Vivement de les voir en concert de voir comment ça rend en concert, mais je n'ai pour ainsi dire pas de doute de ce côté là.

Ouais le clip il tue. Faut dire que la compo aide bien... Je me suis même pas fait chier en le mattant (pour une fois). Et puis le décor de la pochette est bien lugubre, comme la zik (putain de claviers !).

Mes titres préférés sont pour l'instant Memento Mori, Upon The Blood Of Men et Sanguine...

Trop de voix Death. Rythme pas assez entrainant (contrairement à The Antidote). La voix trop en avant et certains instruments pas assez présents (batterie)
Moins accessible peut-être... Bcp moins atmosphérique que Darkness & Hope.
Bref, l'évolution prise me déplait, un peu comme le dernier album de PL. J'ai l'impression que ces "retours aux sources" revendiqués par les groupes comme MS et PL CDLM.

Je ne sais pas ce que tu entend par "atmosphérique", mais je trouve justement qu'il y a une atmosphère, une ambiance puissante et terrible tout le long. J'espérais ça justement, je ne suis pas déçu.

T'es sûr que t'as suffisament écouté le X de PL?

Le groupe va occuper la seconde moitié de l'année à réengistrer Under The Moonspell et une vieille composition du temps où ils s'appellaient Morbid God.

Et avant la fin de l'année ils entreront en studio avec Sorychta pour enregistrer le successeur de l'excellent Memorial.

Portuguese metallers MOONSPELL will enter the studio in early July to record a very special project. The recording sessions will be held at the Denmark's Antfarm Studios with Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILLITY, ROB HALFORD) co-producing with the band. This release will consist of re-recordings of the band's legendary "Under the Moonspell" (1994) but also going back as far as their first demo "Anno SatanÆ" and their sole track as MORBID GOD, "Serpent Angel". All the songs will be re-arranged and revamped in order to "underline their revered distinction as underground classics but now with a mature dark energy and class," according to a press release. "The full-length record (eight songs and around five instrumental compositions) will be released in early October via SPV worldwide.

J'ai écouté ça.
La partie réservée à Anno Satanae est bof sans plus, mais les premiers morceaux, de Under The Moonspell sont vraiment pas mal, surtout Tenebrarum Oratorium. Ca dégage une atmosphère qu'ils ont abandonné par la suite, c'est dommage.

Pochette de la chose tiens, et je suis plutot fan, j'aime bien ce côté brutal de Moonspell

Hop Wolfheart et Irreligious ont été réédité avec un cd live à chaque fois, une nouvelle pochette et un livret splendide, c'est un travail superbe qui fait plaisir, preuve que quand on veux, on peux faire du bon boulot de réédition
