Apparemment, Finn Zierler a un problème avec ses chanteurs. Après que Jorn soit parti vers d'autres cieux plus cléments commercialement parlant (et en accusant ce cher Finn d'avoir utilisé ses idées sans le reconnaître pour Section X), voici que Kelly Sundown Carpenter est débarqué, celui-ci n'ayant délivré aucune de ses parties pour le prochain album. Voici le point de vue de Beyond Twilight :

Danish prog-metallers BEYOND TWILIGHT have parted ways with their American vocalist Kelly Sundown Carpenter (also of OUTWORLD). The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"Kelly Sundown Carpenter is no longer a member of BEYOND TWILIGHT. Kelly had four months to deliver vocal lines for the upcoming album, but did not deliver more than 30 seconds of unusable vocals lines. Schedules and plans were pushed several times to adapt to Kelly's lack of ideas and problems. All in the BEYOND TWILIGHT camp have been more than patient with all his excuses. On the 7th of December Kelly finally got a warning. Through a period of four months he promised he would deliver next day but nothing happened. His reasons were everything from personal problems, family problems, not having enough time, blaming Mike and Truls from CIRCUS MAXIMUS taking away his enthusiasm because Kelly felt second to them and to not having a clue of what to sing. Kelly then demanded money, [or] else he wouldn't do the recordings. Although this is not the spirit of BEYOND TWILIGHT, the band was forced to make an arrangement which was settled and Kelly was assured his wish of $500. The 28th of December Kelly decided that the label should pay him the amount of $500 before he left for the recordings, [or] else he wouldn't do the recordings. Finn Zierler [BEYOND TWILIGHT founder] wrote to Kellythat the label, of course, was closed during Christmas and he was not even going to ask the label, but desperate to save the situation, Finn offered to transfer the money to Kelly and asked Kelly to supply him with a PayPal account. Kelly did not do this; instead he started attacking the concept of the album, although he had not written any lyrics nor did he have a clue of what the concept is about. At last, only one day before Kelly was supposed to fly to Europe, he ended up accusing Finn for not paying him money to the account that Kelly never supplied and that he couldn't thrust Finn to give it to him and therefore he wanted to leave the band. King Kelly has decided not to cover the economical losses he has caused.

"On behalf of everybody in the BEYOND TWILIGHT camp, it's safe to say that we are all puzzled about Kelly, but we wish him the best for the future."

Très mauvaise nouvelle que ce départ de Kelly Sundown Carpenter.
Il m'avait vraiment scotché sur l'album et je trouvais que se voix collait encore mieux au groupe que celle de Lande.
Vont-ils trouver encore mieux ??

Only two days after announcing their split with singer Kelly Sundown Carpenter (also of OUTWORLD), Danish prog-metallers BEYOND TWILIGHT have already acquired a replacement. The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"We are proud to announce that our new lead vocalist is Björn Jansson. Coming from Sweden we warmly welcome him as new family member in BEYOND TWILIGHT. We are absolutely thrilled about our new reinforcement. Björn is an outstanding vocalist and fits the band perfectly. This also makes it possible for us to finally use our base in Scandinavia bringing back and setting up our camp here. No doubt this is a healthy situation for us as for playing live and touring which we have been dreaming about for a long time.

"Björn is experienced and you might also know him from his albums with TEARS OF ANGER and Bob Katsionis' IMAGINERY.

"When getting in touch with Björn, we found out that he had been a BEYOND TWILIGHT fan for several years. What better commitment and conditions could we ask for? What really matters to us is that within less than 24 hours Björn showed his commitment by delivering vocal recordings. Not just vocal recordings but fantastic vocals in our own humble opinion. So there you have it!"

Je viens d'écouter des morceux de Tears of Angel.
Je pense que c'est une excellente recrue. Je ne connaissais pas ce Björn Jansson... Il assure !! Il va coller au groupe à coup sûr !
Et en plus ça a l'air très sympa Tears of Anger !

Ca sent le coup fourré ce truc. Finn devait bien chercher dans son coin un nouveau chanteur depuis quelques temps déjà....

En tout cas le communiqué annonçant l'éviction de Carpenter était pas très pro...

Danish/Swedish prog-metallers BEYOND TWILIGHT have completed work on the vocal recording for their new album, tentatively due later in the year. "Everything went easy and well," the band write on their web site. "The vocals was recorded in just a couple of days. Björn [Jansson, singer] has made the most outstanding vocals. Pulling it off in just a couple of days he showed he is made of the same thing as the rest of the band. The band met in the weekend and had a great time together. Only thing left now is the mixing sessions which has already started."

Björn Jansson joined BEYOND TWILIGHT in early January as the replacement for Kelly Sundown Carpenter (also of OUTWORLD).

BEYOND TWILIGHT's most recent album, "Section X", was issued in 2005 via Massacre Records.

Danish/Swedish prog-metallers BEYOND TWILIGHT will release their new album, "For the Love of Art and the Making", on April 21. The recording sessions for the CD took place in three different studios: Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with Jacob Hansen, Zierler's Dungeon and Jailhouse Studio with Tommy Hansen. "Be sure to expect the most unique piece of music in the band's history," the group write on their web site. "One ongoing composition containing 43 sections. The sections are all pieces of a puzzle, which you, the listener can put together to find the secrets of this complex and ambitious work. The album have a meaning/lifeline from start to end but if you set your CD player on shuffle new doors to the meaning of the album will open for you. To be able to understand the dephts and complexity of the album you'll have to listen to it more than a few times."

Je sais pas si tu auras du succès avec ce groupe, noise. Les amateurs ont disparu dans une faille spatio-temporelle.

Oui mais franchement, les JDM ne me manquent guere

franchement navrant le communiqué de presse exposant les raisons détaillées de l'éviction du chanteur.
ça lave son lage sale, ça parle gros sous, c est carrement antiprofessionnel.
le public ne doit pas entendre parler business en detail, c est une regle d or, sinon l image des zicos en prend generalement un sacré coup

Vivement la sortie de cet album !!
Ce concept encore une fois barge ne m'étonne guère de la part de Finn Zienler !
