oui, il passe très bien ce nouveau disque. Plus intéressant que le précédent je trouve. Plus de fulgurances je trouve et de titres marquants.

Le précédent m'avait fait la sensation d'un petard mouillé : quelques morceaux sympas voire très sympas mais pas mal de fillers aussi.
J'ai accroché assez vite à ce nouvel album alors que je n'en attendais pas grand chose. Les influences des uns et des autres sont un peu mieux digérés (le titre introductif Giants on the Run signé Deris/Hansen en est un bon exemple). Les deux titres centraux (signés Gerstner) sont de vraies réussites ajoutant un côté hyper mélodique et aventureux. Le titre de fin (Majestic, du Gamma Ray dans l'esprit) est réussi avec un gros riff sur le refrain. Oui il est très bon.
J'ai été agréablement surpris et j'accroche sur la durée. Vous trouvez pas que sur Giants On The Run, après le pont, le riff est intégralement pompé sur Bridge Of Death de Manowar? _________________ Up the Irons! R.I.P Lemmy |
